- live (used for real payments on live environment, sandbox banks cannot be used)
- sandbox (used for testing both real payments and test payments, sandbox banks can be used)

When utilizing this sandbox environment provided by banking institutions, payments will not transition to the COMPLETED state. The payment process will conclude with either a FAILED or PENDING status. To evaluate the flow of the COMPLETED state, kindly use a different banking institution for testing purposes.
